Cornflakes!

Woohoo!
Here’s the Guides poster design finally done.

Got the big head idea from somewhere, another picture that i drew but haven’t coloured. shall upload it after colouring it. the poster is kinda simple, but i guess the main aim is just to grab some attention with that huge head. actually i kinda think that it looks somewhat like a bear or something, coz the nose is a little wrong. haha, but my mom says it looks fine (can’t really trust her taste though). anyway, since i’m here let me do some publicising.

i’m free tonight, well…quite. so i’ve decided to post these random pencil sketches. nothing related to my coursework. just felt that the baby looked quite cute. it was done like during the december holidays. yea. the ear? i’m not sure why i decided to draw it too.haha! i’m not really good at shading kinda stuff. i shall post my super cool transformer robot which i did last year for AEP another time (when i find it).

my first post ever

Hey there!

well, i’ve never owned a blog before, so you’ll have to forgive any seemingly sloppy work. you don’t know how long my classmates had to nag at me about how “dead” my blog was before i finally posted this.

okay…first things first, my artist’s statement. actually i wanted to do lino art, you know, those rubber stamping thingos? was really fascintaed by it back then when the non-AEP students did that for art. but…in the end i decided against it. because mr gan says it requires alot of technical skills and i don’t have any experience doing it at all.

as for my theme, i don’t really have a theme, but it’ll most probably be on machine like stuff. robots and all that. will i be a architect or engineer next time? Never. i want to open my own child care centre!! well, that’s besides the point. i’m still considering 2D drawings, but i was advised to do something more challenging…like building a robot! quite a cool idea eh?

so that will be all for now…feel free to give me any comments or advise on my course work!
