phew! finally finished this drawing. medium is marker ink. it took me alot alot of time, and alot alot of my favourite marker pens’ ink. bleh. but at least it turned out quite alright. seriously, it took me many nights to complete this… especially those small puny little scales.

eh…the colours of some parts are a little weird coz i only have a limited range of colours, and i think the tongue should have been pink instead of red, but i couldn’t colour over anymore coz the red is too dark. yupps, i am most proud of the scales XD

  1. Wow, im really impressed with the dragon. It looks like something XinYan will do. I like the choice of colours for your dragon. Green and Red makes for a fiery, and powerful dragon! the scales are also drawn in with a lot of details. (:

  2. HAHA, Guoshu! >XP I can’t be as bothered to do those scales unlike Anning! Maximise the picture and you’ll notice that every scale is painstakingly given a white edge and a black stroke in the middle!!

Anning: Did you use a different marker/pen for the outline of the dragon and the scales? It’s a little obvious because the outline of the dragon looks less “sharp” and “fine” compared to the scales. The boldness/thickness is fine, but I think it’ll be better if the outline was done with a darker marker/pen. Also, the body of the dragon is very impressive and has loads of detail, but the rest of the dragon is very simple and in a single colour/not much modelling. Kinda brings down the WOW from the scales.. so maybe a little more attention to the rest of the dragon? But that said, GREAT JOB AND PEIFU PEIFU!!!!
