heh…anyway this was copied off the cover of a box of vacuum-packed salmon my cousin brought back from canada to give to my family. its from the salmon village or something. haha! but i changed some of the colours. *ding ding*

but after gaining some skills from my photoshop session with hui kin this morning, i have decided to produce a photoshop-ed version.

does it look slightly nicer? heh…don’t really know how to edit, furthermore i’m using mac’s photostudio, so its a little different. but i think the colours look cleaner and brighter here.

Well this was the first thing that caught my eye, and yep yep! it does look better after using photoshop. The colour for the tail has become cleaner and brighter, with better contrasts, so it brings out the little triangles even more clearly.
I like the colour combination, which is weird because often green + red makes me things instantly of christmas. But yours didn’t, and that’s great ‘cos often when I see that colour combination on anything but christmas decorations I’d go ‘yuk’ because often it’s a poor colour combination and clashed too horribly.
However for yours I think you’ve brought out what it means to use complimentary colours.. and they go really well! they are surprising, but not overboard.
