we were asked to design the generation NY’s header thing. its supposed to be able to change colour themes each time, so i made it monochromatic and simple. well…in the end they chose one from the GAP people.
haha! i don’t know why i chose all the leafy themes…will look kinda weird on the magazine cover page eh?! but i think it looks okay coz its simple and not too complicated…unless they like it complicated.

since i’m free tonight, and not sleepy yet even though its 1am in the morning, i shall upload the photos from the NY table decoration competition 2008. hehe, i’m really proud of 403! can’t believe we won it. it may be nice, but also not THAT nice. if the other classes had put in more effort, we probably wouldn’t have won. at least it still turned out okay even though it was kinda last minute.
actually we stole the newspaper idea from guo shu’s coursework, so…thankew guo!

and of course not forgetting xin yan who drew the animals for us–whale and elephant. haha…if not it would have ended up looking as childish as the tiger hui kin drew. oh, and originally we wanted to do panda as well, quite ambitious eh? but we realized there was not enough space, and we probably would not have had enough time to complete it.
but still yay! first time won a class kind of competition…quite sad right? haha…at least now there’s this once

so sorry i haven’t been updating this blog.
the other time i tried to upload some designs, they changed the entire thing alr, so i didn’t know how, so i’m going to try again this time.
ooh! i got it. so anyway here’s the seal design. i think its like one of the best designs i’ve done. as in at least it looks kinda pleasing, cause i’m really bad at design. heh!

actually it was my mom who told me how the palette looks like, coz i kept having this idea that the whole thing was just one big oval like shape. so at first it didn’t look like a palette at all, but at least now it does
haha…this was my design for the sec 3 lifeskills camp T-shirt. the theme was self-discovery. even though i didn’t get very high i thought it was quite okay, so decided to share it so that anyone can give me comments on how i can improve it.
can’t remember where i got the arrow idea from, but i quite like it. just that maybe the person doesn’t look that appealing.

its kind of simple compared to many others, and a little childish too. but i would like to say that it was not a last minute rushed work, coz mr gan says it looks like one. the reason i didn’t make it too complicated (like my robots) was because i think that a logo is supposed to simple and straight to the point.
pls help to comment so that i can improve on it. design really isn’t my forte.
oh! and i would like to thank all of u for your support on wednesday regarding the Guide’s fundraising. we managed to sell ALL the cookies and muffins!!! we still had a few of the marshmallow cornflakes left, but the sales were really good overall.

Here’s the Guides poster design finally done.
Got the big head idea from somewhere, another picture that i drew but haven’t coloured. shall upload it after colouring it. the poster is kinda simple, but i guess the main aim is just to grab some attention with that huge head. actually i kinda think that it looks somewhat like a bear or something, coz the nose is a little wrong. haha, but my mom says it looks fine (can’t really trust her taste though). anyway, since i’m here let me do some publicising.
