finally…LIGER!

yay! i finally finished my liger! actually this drawing was done really long ago, it was supposed to be for block test 1. but i never finished the tail because i couldn’t get into my robot-drawing mood, but today i forced myself to finish it so that i could upload it so here it is; enjoy!

actually even though i only started drawing this kind of detailed robot stuff not long ago, but i find that i get the most sense of satisfaction, and enjoy drawing it the most. actually i don’t really fancy drawing because my skills aren’t very good, but this is something i can draw and want to draw. so even though i’m not able to do purely drawings for my coursework, i’ll probably continue drawing it in my own free time. actually if i really did do this for my coursework, i’d probably end up quite sick of it, so at least now my interest is still there.

my OWN robot!

i finally came up with my very own robot (designed myself)!!

all this while i’ve been just copying and duplicating other images/drawings, but this robot is done totally on my own. of course i did make references here and there, but its mostly my own. the pose of it is actually from a baby on her knees and hands as shown from my drawing. 

i thinks certain parts are quite cool, even though it looks a little bit like a frog from certain angles. the head is the weirdest, but its really really hard to get the head right…

haha! sorry, the title of this post is quite lame. just that throughout the whole process of drawing the tattoo machine, and whenever i look at it, i feel very uneasy and “painful”. as in i keep imagining the poor person under the mercy of the vicious machine. 

anyway this was drawn in pencil, and its in my sketchbook. my sketchbook has been quite…lately. i don’t get any constructive thing out of it, and i’m always just waiting for the lesson to be over. how?!

ho ho! there’s my prince charming. haha, nah…i can barely see his face. this is a sketch i did during my visit to the National Museum of Singapore with the other sec 4 AEP peeps about a month ago. Its actually a sculpture half-embedded into the wall.

hi hi!

i’m free tonight, well…quite. so i’ve decided to post these random pencil sketches. nothing related to my coursework. just felt that the baby looked quite cute. it was done like during the december holidays. yea. the ear? i’m not sure why i decided to draw it too.haha! i’m not really good at shading kinda stuff. i shall post my super cool transformer robot which i did last year for AEP another time (when i find it).
